Today is a fun day because I have THREE things I am showing off today! I spent my weekend working on new signs for our shop and I also am going to show you a furniture makeover that I have been patiently waiting to share for two weeks!
The Hutch:

I used MMSMP in the color grain sack. I also used the bonding agent for the first coat because she has a veneer finish that was very smooth and I didn't want an overly chippy look for this piece. After several coats of MMSMP I went in with some sand paper and did lots of distressing. Afterwards I took a scrap piece of drop cloth and my clear furniture wax and finished her off. The finish is so smooth and I could not be happier with the way this piece turned out. My great room area is FINALLY starting to take shape and hopefully in the next few months I will have some pictures of the entire space to show you.
I have been collecting ironstone, milk glass, and any white ceramic pieces I could find for a year or so and the white really pops on the subtle gray color of the hutch. I love miss Madison and she will be here to stay!
I also have two signs to share today! I love raspberries and the look of old vintage farm signs so I made this sign custom for my dining area. I used flat black paint for the lettering and MMSMP in the color ironstone as the background.
This last sign is one of my favorites from all the signs I made this weekend. I stained the wood and used MMSMP in the color ironstone as the background as well. I distressed it with an orbital sander and sealed it with MMS clear furniture wax. It will be available in our Etsy shop along with about 8 other new signs coming up this week! It measures 32x12 and would be perfect over a bed, a door way or in a living room. That's all for today I will be back tomorrow with more signs!
