I hope everyone is ready for some pinned it Friday! Lets jump right in shall we?

This first pin is from the blog Mommy By Day Crafter By Night. I stumbled upon this blog earlier this week and have gone back to it numerous times! I don't know where it has been hiding all this time because it is my current blog crush!! Here is an awesome weekender bag that originally took me to her page! She also has several tutorials on how to make a few other bag patterns. I see some of these happening in my future!

Another blog I have been going back to time and time again these past few weeks is Miss Mustard Seed. I have known about this blog for a couple of years but recently it has really become one of my top 5 favorites! As you may have already noticed by all of my recent milk paint products from her Milk Paint line. She recently did a guest post on a blog where she gives a small tutorial on how to make a simple slip cover. I have been wanting to delve into some upholstery but I am afraid! so much fabric needed and if I screwed it all up it would be such a waste! this seems like a pretty harmless project that wouldn't require a boat load of fabric and would help me practice my skills. Or rather lack of.  She also has a giveaway going on in conjunction with this tutorial for Pine Cone Hill bedding! go enter and maybe you will be the winner!

As I continue to brainstorm ideas for my twins room I have been on the hunt for some sort of simple classic bedding. This quilt is all of those things. It would be simple to make and I think it would be a  great textile to use in their room. Yes,I am still trying to decide what the heck to do with that room.. I am really thinking about re-painting it.. don't tell my husband! but they do have some big boy beds that will be moving over to their room in a couple weeks this has been the main hold up on this project. So stay tuned That project will start coming to fruition soon! This pattern came from Crafty Blossom. If you have been following along with Rachel's recent learn how to quilt tutorials this would be a perfect quilt to start with!

This next pin is my muse room for decorating the boys room from Sweet Chaos! Really her whole house is my muse but for today we will stick with her sons tween room makeover! I love how she has mixed plaid prints with hounds tooth and the over all feel of the room! I really covet that Jenny Lind antique bed also! Seriously get into my house!! Go check out her house you will love it!

Lastly is another awesome lady who has helped me rein in my hate for cooking. Pioneer Woman. I think I am a little late to jump onto this band wagon but I am so glad I did! I have tried two of her recipes this last week and they both impressed my husband which let me tell you is HARD to do!! I  think this is really the reason I dislike cooking. My husband is hard to please. I usually cook dinner and have to pry some sort of review out of him and very rarely is that outstanding. I swear I am NOT a bad cook! My husband just wants Giada in his kitchen, don't we all?!!!!  In the mean time I will try to please him one recipe at a time thank you Ree Drummond for  helping my cause!!

OK that is it for the week!!

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
-Haley
