Pinned it Friday: Rachel Edition

Hello everyone! This week has flown by for me, and I mean that in the best way! My husband took a couple day off of work and we went with his sister and her family to Sea World on Tuesday. We had never been and had a blast for sure! I am the kind of nerd that likes things like National Geographic and Planet Earth, so this just made me happy. Plus I sweet talked The Cuteness into buying me a pink Sea World cup and little cutsey plastic bin full of some of the animals we saw there. We ate until we were sick and got all lovely and sunburned. All-in-all, a great time! On Monday, I got to get the rest of the products for my Annie Sloan desk makeover, so I'll be back to working on that and hopefully getting it posted very soon. For now, it's time to share my best pins of the week with you all!

1.) Chicken & Broccoli Homemade Hot Pockets. Don't these look GREAT?! Not to mention that they are homemade and won't have the weird junk in them like store-bought ones! This recipe is by Savannah at Savvy Shopper Central.

2.) I really like the Down to Earth Style blog... And it really lives up to it's name! I happened upon this project while I was browsing around, and thought it was perfect (and you can't beat a simple DIY project)! I think this would be great decor for the 4th of July or anytime really. Go see all the amazing projects and learn about Holly and her style on the Down to Earth Style blog!

3.) When I found this pin about which solids are best to use in quilts, I ended up looking through Camille's blog for over an hour! I had already looked at a lot of the things, but I am amazed at the gorgeous patterns and color choices that she uses. I'm going to include another picture, that shows what I mean. It is call The Farmer's Wife Quilt, and is definitely on my quilting bucket list! One day... For now, go and read about Camille and follow her on Instagram, you won't be disappointed.

4.) Okay, are you ready for the cutest pie you've ever seen!!? After you look, you should try making these little mini berry pies over at My Sweet Savannah. This blog is completely overflowing with goodies and prettyness! Melanie has an amazing home and decorates in a way that I wish I could! If you are in a decor rut, go browse around for a while, you will be driving off to thrift stores before you know it!

5.) Burlap is all the rage right now ( even though it is nasty horrible stuff to work with), and it helps add the older and rustic vibe to projects. I love this Stenciled Burlap Letter project that I came across this week, and am thinking that it may need to happen in my home soon!

Thanks for checking out another Pinned It Friday post, have a wonderful weekend!
